THE GRASSARMCHAIR
The concept has been invented and designed by an Italian studio: Nucleo, from Turin. We decided to try out this project, we got the original project available on the Nucleo’s website and we made our workshop.
To realize two armchairs it took 2 days of work. We made all the cartoon pieces before and then we started composing the armchair skeleton. Once it was ready we started filling the structure with soil, clay, and sand. At the end, we added the seeds and we started watering regularly.
It’s a quite easy practice which can be replicated by everybody is motivated.
