EYE Testimonial || José Miguens

An international experience is transformative. The traveler and even the immigrant are entrepreneurs in a pure state, and due to the adaptation, they undergo when learning about a new culture, it can even cause some type of adversity. The culture shock makes you think of other points of view and in this case knowing a new multicultural environment can be a great experience, not only for the development of a business, but as a life experience.

Going to a different place offered me the opportunity to find inspiration in an interesting place. By participating in this entrepreneurial program, I have a vision of the world totally different from the status quo. I look at the world with different eyes. I want to do new things, create, and experiment, while enjoying the process of making an association.

I enjoyed participating in the program because it offered several benefits to me. The first is to be able to meet an experienced businesswoman who has already walked this path. To have the figure of a mentor who trains me, reports, and advises me is a great advantage. In addition to the above, at all times I had the support of a local entity, which creates a network of trust. Another of the features that I liked about the program is that it allows a cultural exchange, due to this I made new friends, I lived new adventures and now I have new historical-cultural knowledge. This cultural exchange not only allowed me to do all of the above but also developed my business idea, gave me an expert opinion, and showed me if my business plan could be successful.

In addition, the Erasmus Young Entrepreneur program offered me the possibility of knowing another way of working, discovering the path of entrepreneurship, losing fear, being supported and guided by other people.

Thanks to Brigitte for the opportunity to exchange our ideas, for receiving me in your home, in your association, inserting me in your day-to-day life, in the region, and in your activities. In short, for being with me, for allowing me to learn from a different person with other abilities and different characteristics.
