Volunteer profile: Àngela Cremades

Molt boneeees ! I’m Àngela, I’m 25 years old and I come from a village of Valencia (Spain).

I came here because I needed a change. Go out of my comfort zone and meet new people and atmosphere. Especially because I want to learn diferents ways of living. I would like to have a sustainable and self-management lifestyle and I also would like to find a job which
I like, because I think the most of the times we are slaves of the society ! So I’m sure if you move and you meet new people and new life-styles you can find something you would like in your life!

I chose this project because I loved the idea of being in a natural place (it’s a really nice place!), connecting with the nature and animals. To be self-managed you have to learn a lot of things about gardening, building… And I think I can learn it here. I know this kind of places give you the opportunity
to go deeper in yourself while you are learning. This is a good opportunity to also discover how you feel living in community. It’s interesting because here you don’t choose the people who you live with so if you have some problem you have to really open your mind and try to understand each other with communication and empathy, it’s a good work for our lives.
By the way, it’s really nice to share the experience with the other people here and to know more about other cultures, languages… It’s amazing !

Actually, this year, we are not so many volunteers and not so many projects like the other years, because of the coronavirus. But how much they teach me here! Each opportunity give us something important to learn. It will be nice to live this lonely and quiet life, maybe it push ourselves to discover things that we wouldn’t do in other conditions, who knows !

About the place and the metodology, I like the way they guide you here. They give you the space and the tools to develop yourself but you have to find what you want to develop and the way you want to do it.
So you learn to be motivated, to move and take the opportunities they give you here. Good place to explore yourself!
