As part of the activities of our Erasmus+ Project Voluntube World, we organized a free video-making and story telling workshop for the youngsters of the region. Since our director works with different collectives and youth institutions, we are aware that the offer of creative and innovative workshops around the area is very low (or even there isn’t one).
This is why we wanted to share this event and we had the presence of our peruvian #VolunTubers, who were making their EVS here at IDC as a part of the project.
In this workshop, Fiorella and Luigi had the chance to pass their knowledge and all the things they have learned during the project to other youngsters. So, after some teambuilding and ice-breaking activities, the participants had the chance to know more about how to use a camera, the basic about shooting frames, light, camera movements, etcetera.
After that, with the help of our communications officer Alicia, they started a session about story telling. So they got together in groups and they had a time for a creative process, in which each group had to come up with an idea for a video. We proposed some topics as sustainability, environment and active citizenship.
The trainers checked all the ideas, gave some feedback and then it was the time for the participants to start shooting! After that, they had time to edit their videos and ask for some support to the trainers before showing them to the whole group.
It was a day of sharings and creativity! We hope to have our new voluntubers from this group!
